Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dan-D-Pak Golden Gingerbread Cookie Mix
  • ½ cup cold butter, cut in pieces
  • 4 Tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 egg

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Cover cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cookie mix with diced cold butter
  • Use a pastry blender to cut in the butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs
  • Stir in the egg and golden syrup until well blended

Cooking Instructions

  • Use ice cream scoop to drop cookie dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets
  • Flattening slightly with hand
  • Bake in oven for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden brown
  • Watch them closely towards end of baking time as they darken very quickly
  • Remove from over
  • Let cool until cookies firm slightly
  • Transfer to racks and let cool completely
