1. Set oven to 350F.
2. In a bowl whisk flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
3. Cream butter with sugar.
4. Add eggs one at a time.
5. Add vanilla and almond extract.
6. Alternate mixing 1/3 of flour and 1/2 sour cream. Repeat finishing with flour.
7. Stir in cherries and walnuts.
8. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake at 350F for 60 minutes or until done.
9. Let cool completely before releasing from pan.
10. Once cool, slice and serve.
