Spreading Love Through Art And Experiences – Dan On Foundation Accompanies Children From Tinh Me 2 Shelter

On July 16, 2025, Dan On Foundation organized a cultural and artistic journey in Ho Chi Minh City for children from the Tinh Me 2 Shelter. This is part of the Foundation’s annual community initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for children in shelters to access enriching, inspiring environments.

The children from Tinh Me 2 Shelter eagerly stepped into a colorful world of art

The journey began at Góc Bếp Bon Appétit Dan – a cozy space combining a Dan-D-Pak product showcase, restaurant, and culinary experience in Sala Urban Area, District 2. Often chosen for community events, this venue offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that blends culture, nutrition, and human connection.

Next, the children explored Quang San Art Museum – a leading contemporary art space in Thu Duc City. With thoughtful guidance from the museum team, they toured vibrant exhibits featuring painting, sculpture, installation, and visual art. The children were encouraged not just to observe but to ask questions and interact with the artworks, sparking creativity and personal engagement with art.

The day ended on a sweet note at Tre Sorelle – a charming gelato shop in Lumière Riverside. In this joyful, friendly setting, the children shared laughter, ice cream, and movie time – simple yet meaningful moments of friendship and connection.

This field trip was part of Dan On Foundation’s Summer 2025 activities for over 120 children from shelters the Foundation supports, including Tinh Me 1, Tinh Me 2, Khai Tri Duc School, and Dan Toc Shelter. Memorable experiences like the beach retreats in Phan Thiet and the May camping trip at Dau Tieng Lake helped the children grow life skills, build friendships, and connect with the wider world.
