On the 11th of May, 2024, amidst the bustling atmosphere of the INC Congress held from the 8th to the 10th of May in Vancouver, Canada, Dan On Foods orchestrated a delightful day tour. This excursion, carefully curated alongside the main event, served as a token of appreciation to our esteemed partners, clients, and supporters who have journeyed with us through thick and thin. Accompanied by our dedicated team from the Dan-D Foods office in Richmond, Canada, the day was a testament to the strong bonds we've forged within our community.
The day tour encompassed every aspect of a memorable journey, including transportation, meals, and sightseeing. From the moment our guests checked in at the Vancouver Harbour Sea Planes at 8:00 AM, to the final farewell at the end of the day, every detail was handled with care to ensure an unforgettable experience.
The itinerary unfolded like a dream, with two seaplanes departing for Victoria Harbour at 8:40 AM, followed by a picturesque arrival at 9:15 AM. The morning was spent exploring the charm of Victoria, from a leisurely harbor tour to a private excursion of Parliament House. This beautiful place with classical design, stained glass, memorial rotunda, and legislative chamber provided a wonderful time exploring the historic halls and learning more about the legislative process. MLA Parmar's insights and expertise truly enhanced our experience and made it both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved.
As we strolled through Fisherman's Wharf, the rich maritime heritage of the region came to life. We enjoyed seeing the unique houseboats and were delighted to spot seals and sea otters, adding a touch of nature's charm to our adventure.
We embarked on a local market tour, visiting Thrifty Foods, a beloved grocery store chain on Vancouver Island known for its commitment to local products and community values. It was like a treasure hunt finding several Dan-D-Pak items in the store, which highlighted our connection to local consumers and retailers.
The afternoon brought us to the serene surroundings of Belvoir Estate, where we were treated to a sumptuous lunch meticulously prepared by Chef Dan On and Chef Ray. Set amidst the classic mansion and sweeping views, this tranquil interlude provided the perfect opportunity to savor exquisite cuisine and engage in meaningful conversations with fellow travelers.
During this time, Mr. Dan On delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to all the guests and employees who graced the event with their presence. He emphasized the significance of supporting local farmers and community development initiatives.
