Dan On Foods Corporation Accompanies UOB Heartbeat Run 2025

On September 13, 2025, the UOB Heartbeat Run 2025 charity race took place at P2 Park, Phu My Hung, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 2,000 employees, customers and business partners to participate. This was not only a sporting activity but also a journey of spreading love, joining hands to raise funds together with UOB to create greater positive values for the community.

As a Silver Sponsor, Dan On Foods Corporation contributed more than VND 50 million, giving 200 nutritious gifts to the participating athletes. Not only stopping at material contributions, many Dan On Foods Corporation employees also directly put on their shoes, joined the run to contribute to fundraising.

Each of their steps not only signified overcoming personal challenges but also a commitment to accompany the community, contributing to the figure of more than VND 940 million – the record fundraising amount of the program to date.

UOB Vietnam raised a record amount of more than VND 940 million through the UOB Heartbeat Run 2025
 

The entire fund will be transferred to Saigon Children’s Charity CIO to equip three computer labs for nearly 2,000 students at three secondary schools in An Giang province. This is part of UOB Vietnam’s 5-year commitment, aiming by 2027 to equip a total of five computer labs for students in the Mekong Delta region.

In addition, before the event, UOB Vietnam’s employees, customers and partners, with the companionship of Dan On Foods Corporation, organized a charity fair, with all revenue contributed to the UOB Heartbeat Fund. This activity not only contributed to fundraising but also spread the spirit of sharing, amplifying the humanitarian values that the program aims for.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Victor Ngo, CEO of UOB Vietnam, shared:

“The UOB Heartbeat Run is clear evidence of the power of solidarity, when we join hands with employees, customers and partners to create positive and meaningful impact. Through the five-year program committed by the Bank, we expect to expand digital learning opportunities for children in the Mekong Delta, equipping them with the essential skills to develop in the digital economy.”

With more than 26 years of establishment in Vietnam, Dan On Foods Corporation has always considered the sustainable development of the community as the guideline in all activities.
