Dan On Foundation extends support to flood-affected communities in Nghe An after typhoon Wipha

In the spirit of compassion and community care, Dan On Foundation organized a Cooking Show to call for collective action and encourage partners to join hands in supporting families in Nghe An who were heavily affected by Typhoon Wipha.

Following the event, Dan On Foundation carried out a relief program to assist residents in Luong Minh Commune, Tuong Duong District, Nghe An Province, bringing care and essential supplies contributed by employees and sponsors alike.

Typhoon Wipha, followed by prolonged rains, caused severe flooding and hardship for many local households. In response, Dan On Foundation and its partners worked together to provide timely assistance and deliver much-needed essentials to affected communities.

Due to unfavorable weather and road conditions, the originally planned on-site event could not be held. With the full understanding and support of our sponsors and partners, Dan On Foundation arranged a professional transport unit to deliver 7 tons of relief goods to the Fatherland Front Committee of Luong Minh Commune, Nghe An, which were then distributed directly to 1,000 local households in need.

Relief contributions included:

• Dan On Foundation: 1,000 gift packages

• Vinh Hoan: 1,000 sets of rice noodles with seasoning, 2,000 bottles of chili sauce, and 1,000 jackets

• Binh Tay: 500 cartons of instant noodles

• Huong Que Vegan: 1,000 bottles of vegan fish sauce and 1,000 bottles of soy sauce

These meaningful contributions represent more than material support, they embody the spirit of kindness, solidarity, and social responsibility. The generosity and collaboration of our sponsors and partners have brought hope, comfort, and smiles to many families facing hardship.
